Are you a teacher looking for a senior position within a school do you want a position where you can help young people excel academicallyAn Alternative provision in Coventry are looking for an experienced Lead Teacher to start in September. The placement will begin on a long-term basis for the first term and will then be reviewed for possible extension until the end of the academic year.The provision are looking for an experienced Teacher with the ability to lead on PSHE and Personal development predominately, alongside teaching some areas of the Humanities subjects. This is a peripatetic position and the successful teacher will be askedto travel across their two closely located sites in the CV2 area.The alternative provision is an independent school that caters for pupils aged 11 to 18 years, who may have social, emotional and mental health difficulties, as well as a range of other needs, including ADHD or ASD. The school has a range of subject specificareas and facilities, which give the young people the best opportunity to excel. The successful candidate will have:Qualified Teacher StatusSEMH/behaviour experienceSpecialist subject in : PSHE or one of the HumanitiesExperience working with SEND and being able to differentiate to all levels within the classroom.The experience necessary to be a Lead teacherThis really is a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher to take on a senior position within an alternative provision.
