maintenance: Minimum 3 years experience as Handyman(required)We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant. You would be working at our Coventry Locations in CV1 and would be splitting your working days between sites as per business requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Provide Handyman services to the students such as changing lightbulbs, painting / re decoration, basic plumbing, General repairs- Manage any General repairs onsite such as Communal spaces / stairwells / corridors / Fire Doors- Day to day contractor management such as escorting any contractors and ensuring all relevant paperwork is received- Health and Safety tasks such as Weekly Fire Alarm testing, Emergency Lighting testing, Legionella testing including temperature checks and weekly flushing of outlets- Add / Close Maintenance tasks into the Housing Management system and also run daily reports- Work with the General Manager and the Building Manager to ensure compliance with Health and Safety Requirements.- Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times- Providing excellent customer service to Residents & other stakeholders-be available out of hours when needed to deal with emergencies.-Always be a team playerWork Schedule:" 5 days out of 7 days each week" Weekend availabilityExperience:maintenance: Minimum 3 years experience as Handyman(required)
