You will provide a range of business intelligence and insight services to support evidence-drivendecision making, strategic planning, benchmarking, reporting, forecasting and analysis across the organisation to support the delivery of the Groups Corporate Strategy.Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and interpretation of analytical insights across the student lifecycle, with a particular focus on supporting the delivery of the business intelligence service
• Liaise closely with stakeholders to gather and document reporting and insight requirements from stakeholders that underpin the development of fit for purpose dashboards within Tableau and Tableau CRM reporting environments.
• Design, deliver and maintain a suite of dashboards to support tactical and strategic information requirements, including supporting design and procedural documentation.
• Implement metrics that monitor and benchmark performance internally and across the sector utilising appropriate data sources and methods in line with operational and strategic objectives.
• Develop accurate statistical and predictive models to support forecasting and trend analysis, incorporating appropriate data sources and methods that underpin business decisions.
• Analyse and present complex information about the organisation and HE sector in a clear and concise manner adapted to suit a range of audiences including Executive Board and non-expert
• Proactively enhance the data literacy of colleagues, understand supporting data architecture and data quality, and identify opportunities to exploit reporting software tools and data resources for the benefit of the Group. .
• Understand the onwards use of data for statutory reporting and sector-based analysis, performance monitoring, benchmarking and league tables and take active steps to identify opportunities to enhance the strategic use and understanding of data assets andreporting systems within the HE environment.
• Liaise with key colleagues, partner organisations, suppliers and external agencies.
• Represent the Strategic Planning and Analytics Office within the area of responsibility.

Key Skills / Experience:Essential:

• Significant experience of delivering robust analysis, insight, and reporting.
• Experience of the delivery of analysis, insight and visualisations /dashboards using business intelligence tools including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep (or similar such as Power BI / Qlik)
• Experience in the development of predictive/ statistical models including the interpretation of outcomes.
• High level of experience in the communication of outputs from complex analyses, to a diverse range of audiences and using a range of methods (reports, presentation etc) and visualisations (and appropriate software).
• Experience of project-based activities.

Desirable:

• Experience of other reporting software such as Business Intelligence tools, including Alteryx, Tableau CRM, Power BI, Business Objects or similar analytical products.

Experience and understanding of MS SQLProfile
