Strategic Senior IT Buyer!Are you a seasoned IT procurement professional with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving innovation I am currently recruiting a dynamic and experienced Senior IT Buyer to play a key role in shaping the future of the Procurement function of this Coventrybased organisation.The Company:* Innovative Culture: Join a forward-thinking company that embraces technology and encourages creativity in its IT procurement strategies.* Global Impact: Contribute to projects with a global reach, influencing the IT landscape and driving impactful change on an international scale.* Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a team of experts and leaders who value collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning.* Career Growth: Enjoy a career path with ample opportunities for professional development and advancement within a supportive and dynamic work environment.Your Role: Senior IT BuyerAs a Strategic Senior IT Buyer, you will:* Strategise and Innovate: Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives, staying abreast of market trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in IT procurement.* Global Vendor Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with global vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal terms and conditions.* Technology Adoption: Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge technologies, aligning IT procurement with the organisations strategic goals and digital transformation initiatives.* Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise data analytics to make informed decisions, optimise costs, and enhance overall IT procurement efficiency.* Risk Management: Mitigate risks associated with IT procurement through thorough risk assessment and proactive contract management.Requirements:* Education: Ideally MCIPS Qualified.* Experience: Solid experience within IT procurement, with a proven track record of strategic sourcing and vendor management.* Communication Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse data, assess market trends, and make strategic decisions based on findings.* Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team.This role requires the successful candidate to be happy to work on a Hybrid basis, with ½ days per week in the state-of-the-art offices based in Coventry.You can expect to receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes an annual Bonus, plus a host of other options, alongside a competitive salary.
