We strongly believe that integrating purpose into our business strategy will be the key to our future success.Join the world of PepsiCo Supply Chain, our factory in Coventry is one our biggest snacks manufacturing site in the UK, producing a number of well-known brands including Doritos, SunBites, Squares, French Fries, Wotsits and Monster Munch. It is a multi-technology plant with significant automation and is home to around 650 of our team. Our Coventry site is a fast paced and ever changing environment, we can go from idea to implementation in a matter of days. You will be inspired by the drive of your team and feel a true sense of connection and comradery with your colleagues who are proud to work at Coventry.To provide stores support to Engineering and Operations, ensuring the site stock holding requirements are executed to the required standards and in line with our commitments to safe delivery, cost and quality.

  • Provide support to ensure stores stock holdings are correct and aligned to site requirements
  • Lead and support improvements through Continuous Improvement (CI)initiatives and preventative actions (to include health & safety and food safety actions).
  • Effective capture of all stock movements in SAP.
  • Good influencing, communication and decision making skills.
  • Motivated self starter with good prioritisation & planning skills.
  • Receive goods inwards, gather supplier performance information and store the parts within 24 hours of receipt
  • Expedite parts replenishment with suppliers through various communication methods i.e. telephone, e-mail
  • Ensure parts are booked out against works orders and the correct cost centres are utilised to ensure cost of equipment is as accurate as possible
  • Control the introduction of new stock items via PepsiCo Global Template.
  • Manage supplier performance to ensure on time, full quantity and quality are at acceptable levels
  • Ensure effective cost control within the stores
  • Give clear direction and hold regular review meetings with the site Front Line Employeeteams to ensure all inventory transactions are captured and completed in alignment withBusiness Processes
  • Initiate and process stores transactions once approved to ensure timely receipt and onward supply of parts to the customer
  • Perform weekly/rolling stock counts to UK business procedure
  • Update daily cost tracking spreadsheet with previous days figures
    • What we are looking for:
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft/CMMS/ERP)
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Previous working experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systemsor Enterprise Assessment Management /Enterprise Resource Planning systems desirable
