Job Description

Staff Surveyor / Client Side Residential SurveyorWe work with a number of reputable Lenders who specialise in the BTL, HMO and Development finance markets, employing Surveyors in-house to act as both Valuers and Panel Managers across designated patches UK wide.Despite prevailing uncertainty across the mainstream residential market, investment lenders remain highly instructed, in part due to their ability to panel less in order to keep in-house surveyors busy regardless of wider economic factors.On this basis, our lender client now seeks an additional Staff Surveyor as follows:

  • MRICS/FRICS & VRS qualified with 2 years PQE
  • Based in, or within range of the South East Midlands in order to cover - B, CV, LE and NN postcodes (1-2 jobs per day max, always booked in the same postcode set in close proximity - i.e. 2 jobs in B on Monday, 1 job in CV on Tuesday.soon and so forth)
  • Stable career history, with specific and consistent exposure to Buy to LET, HMO and/or valuation for investment lending purposes
  • Quality focused, the position concentrates on sound lending decisions over volume reporting (typical workload comprises 1-2 jobs per day in addition to ensuring compliance across work coming back from panels)
  • Successful Staff Surveyor applicants may come from a number of professional backgrounds, including (but not limited to) corporate consultancy, private practice or panel manager
