SQL Reporting Services Developer SSRS

Job Description

Evtec Automotive are an automotive manufacturerand aftermarket supplier to some of the UKs biggest car manufacturers including Ford and Jaguar Land Rover and we are looking for a SSRS (SQL Reporting Services Developer.) to join the IT department on a contractbasis to assist in producing meaningful reports from our new ERP System Winman.We would consider Full time or part time contract for 6 months.Job DescriptionThe SSRS Developer (Reporting Services Developer) positionrequires the ability to read and write complex queries, ability to create database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, user-defined functions) and modify existing reporting content. To performthis job successfully, an individual would need to be able to understand complex business processes, gather requirements, work efficiently and verify their results.Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:

• Compile user requirements and specifications for reports
• Design, create and test SQL reports using SSRS
• Validate report functionality with internal staff/end users
• Respond to users to troubleshoot and/or improve existing reports
• Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Database Platform
• Microsoft Reporting Services Development Environments
• Working with customers through a customer advocate to develop new report requirements, changes to existing reports, and identify reporting errors
• Collaborate with internal QA on customer acceptance testing
• Other duties may be assigned as needed by management

Required Skills/Technologies:

• Reporting Experience - SSRS; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced experience and knowledge of T-SQL, SSRS, Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Database Platforms and Microsoft Reporting Services Development Environment
