We are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Media Officer to come and join Coventry University Marketing Team initially on a 3 to 6-month contract with the potential to go permanent. You will be developing the social content, requiring production of comprehensive and dynamic content schedules, aligned to corporate priorities and notable external activities/events as well as adhering to the Group social media policy and provide guidanceto others. As a Social Media Officer, your main responsibilities will be:*Collaborate with colleagues in the wider Media and Communications team to plan synchronised content calendars and campaigns content planning across all social channels.*Work with the design studio in Marketing and External Affairs to develop consistent visual identity across all social platforms.*Individually, and collaboratively with relevant team members assess and monitor statistical data to produce analysis and reports on the effectiveness of social media and mobile applications delivered socially, online or as part of broader integrated activity.*Work with the photographic resources to capture events, activities and initiatives to demonstrate the diverse nature of university work.*Work with other members of Marketing and External Affairs to produce novel and creative integrated design solutions to support marketing and PR campaigns for clients.*Monitor and identify opportunities and issues on online, social media and traditional media channels for the purposes of promoting, marketing and protecting the universitys brand.*Analyse social media audience data and produce a range of reports on the effectiveness of different initiatives.*Respond to enquiries from staff, students and members of the public, by telephone, email, and in person. Given the nature of social and online engagement, it may be necessary to work outside core university hours.Skills and Experience required:*Experience in Social Media and Marketing*Experience using system such as Brandwatch, Sprout Social and Google Analytics *Creativity *Good communication skills*Confident in interviewing others *Team player*Professional *Ability to work to deadlines Hours/Pay Rate:Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00£14.67 to £16.50 p/h
