Its an opportunity to join a growing businessone of the top 10 Best Big Companies to Work For - with an ambition to expand its socialmedia activity, capitalising on the many and frequent opportunities from Coventry Building Society Arena, and championing its award-winning work with the community and its role as a major partner of the UK City of Culture 2021.Its an opportunity to work collaboratively with our partners at one of the UKs leading sports, entertainment and business venues, to be creative and imaginative and to try different ways of achieving eye-catching results across different social media channels.Youll be working closely with colleagues in comms, marketing, design, digital and beyond to make sure we make the most of all our opportunities, targeting the right audiences with consistent messages. The Media Relations team works across the whole organisation,so building influence with people at all levels will be an important part of the everyday job.Ideally, youll be as comfortable with video and images as you are with the written word, as we want to showcase the full range of what were doing in a way that excites and engages different online audiences. And wed want you to look for opportunities totell our story in new and different ways as trends and technologies change.As well as creating your own posts, youll engage with positive and negative online feedback in the most suitable way.Being able to identifyand anticipate - risks and opportunities is an important part of the job. A creative mind is needed but equally so is a safe pair of hands and dealing with reputational issues both in and outside of normal working hours is expected.About YouWere looking for a good writer, a creative mind and a safe pair of hands. We want someone who has experienced success in their career and is ambitious for more. Youll preferably have experience working as part of a social media team (preferably both in houseand agency) and will have a range of experience getting results on different social media channels.Youll need to be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders, managing your workload independently and responding to short deadlines. Youll be resilient when you need to adapt your approach, and work with tact and diplomacy at all times. A can do attitudeand sense of ownership are essential skills for becoming successful in the role.Most importantly, youll seek out and establish relationships with Wasps and in teams across the business to make sure collaborative work is the norm, not the exception. Youll be keen to take inspiration from all areas, looking at new ways to showcase whatwe do and being the first to know about opportunities relevant to your stakeholders.
