Senior Sales Manager - Rail (Rolling Stock)Working within the UK rolling stock sector and having detailed knowledge of this industry, we are seeking a senior level Sales Manager to support the continuing market development of our clients existing position within the UK and Europe.Focused on multiple levels of client engagement and working with core decision makers, our client is a highly recognised designer, tester and manufacturer of safety critical equipment and crash energy products. Working with OEs to support early product design,development and specification as well as the supply of aftermarket services, the Sales Manager should be experienced with working on a solutions sales approach.Based in the UK, this position is responsible for:- Developing and maximising existing customer relationships and customer base- Ensure that constructive working relationships are built and maintained with key customer and third-party personnel- Identify areas of growth by understand the marketplace, their demands as well as the main market players - including competitors- Negotiate with customers to win business and improve profit margins- Develop long term and strategic relationships- Review project specifications and support product development- Collate commercial proposals and tenders- Establish market pricing strategies to generate a competitive position- Work closely with the senior management and director level teams to win new business- Maintain your understanding of the UK and international rail marketsAs a proactive sales role, you will be tasked with liaising with, supporting, visiting and developing new as well as existing customers.
