Job Description

I’ m currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to work with a leading manufacturer based in the Coventry area. As the Senior Quality Engineer you will be responsible for updating and maintaining IATF16949 quality standards whilst customer requirements and expectations have been accurately identified and that the organisation is meeting or exceeding customer expectations.Commutable from: Coventry, Nuneaton, Leamington Spa, Rugby, Solihull, Stratford Up-on AvonDuties of the Senior Quality Engineer:

  • Devising and establishing companys quality procedures, standards and specifications to achieve a zero defects company
  • Conduct and support internal, 3rd party audits when required
  • Ensure supplier quality assurance is in place and robust
  • Ensuring that customer requirements and expectations have been accurately identified and that the organisation is meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met;
  • Making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international, national and business standards;
  • Support the production team with the timely resolution of build issues, from root cause analysis to implementation of the engineering change
  • Analysis of quality records in order to ensure feedback of information to manufacturing departments Senior Management and Customers
    • The successful candidate for the Senior Quality Engineers position will have the following experience:
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience working as a Senior Quality Engineer working to IATF16949 quality standards (Essential)
  • Carrying out internal and external audits (Essential)
  • Experience of product quality and warranty analysis (Essential)
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives (Desirable)
