Job Description

Senior Project Engineer - Interiors£40,000 - £50,000CoventryDays Only (Mon-Fri)gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Senior Project Engineer - Interiors to work at their facility based near CoventryPerformance Objectives

  • Responsible for component design from concept through to delivery.
  • Reporting into the Principal Engineer and supporting the cross functional project team.
  • Providing technical feedback, as well as being recognised as a SME within Interiors.
  • Utilising a clear engineering approach to develop right first-time design.
  • Ensure robust control for all build concerns, and creation of resolutions where required.
  • Create and deliver innovative ideas and designs.
Person Specification
  • Relevant Engineering Degree
  • Design and development experience within automotive disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of engineering materials
  • Good understanding of latest Automotive manufacture processes
  • Knowledge of latest automotive technologies
  • Understanding of the product lifestyle, from concept to completion
  • CAD knowledge for assembly and part interrogation
  • Knowledge of development tools, such as DFMEA and DVP.
