Job Description

Senior Network Engineer

  • Up to £63,000.
  • Coventry based Hybrid working.
We are working with a client in the financial industry who are looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer to join their existing team of Network and Voice Engineers in providing hands on support and engineering upgrades.They are currently working replacing Checkpoint to Palo Alto as well as implementing AWS into their environment which will be expected to come into effect at some point early next year.There is an out of hours element, which is as and when needed, depending on the task. This could be once or twice a week. Which employees do get paid overtime for. There is also an on-call rota which is approximately 1 week every 3 months, which will alsocount as overtime pay.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on support on both BAU and project related requirements.
  • Support Junior members of the team when required.
  • Working on the migration from Checkpoint firewall to Palo Alto
