Job Description

Position Purpose:TheAgile Senior Business Analyst (SBA)is responsible for:

  • Enabling high quality business analytics that deliver high valued business outcomes and informed decisions for CBS.
  • Working as part of a delivery team to facilitate clear and open communication between business stakeholders, developers and the product owner.
  • Working within a cross functional team, you will be responsible for understanding and analysing user and business needs.
  • Supporting and shape and build our business analysis and design thinking capability by contributing to a range of practice development initiatives.
About You
  • Work as part of an agile team to deliver high quality business analytics solutions
  • Engage with end users, subject matter experts to identify, document, validate and endorse the requirements of their unit, demonstrating agile behaviours that emphasises collaboration, delivery, reflection and improvement and deliver internaltraining for new features to team members and end to end users by identifying needs, preparing materials and delivery as needed
  • Consult with the business and product owners to prioritise and shape the product backlog, using Agile practices for prioritisation around business value
  • Work with product managers and epic owners to develop business cases, as required
  • Be responsible for providing multi-disciplinary teams with user stories and coaching to define the business driven acceptance criteria and test cases. Proactively support the uplift of agile practices and foster a culture of continuousservice improvement
  • Consult with and advise product managers when defining product release content and timeline, applying product development principles, innovative thinking and a focus around the customer or user experience
  • Participate and facilitate agile ceremonies and rituals: backlog refinement, daily stand up, iteration/release planning, showcases/sprint review, retrospective
  • Participate in creation of low and high fidelity prototypes
  • Provide subject matter expertise in specific functional area(s) for assigned scrum team
Hours: 35 - Mon to Friday - 9am to 5pmHybrid working is choosing the best location for you to carry out your rolethis could be in the office or it could be at home.
