Job Description

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a National Insurance broker who is seeking to recruit several Senior Account Handlers due to company growth.This is a great opportunity for experienced individuals to join their outstanding Coventry and Nottingham Corporate teams on a hybrid basis.The primary responsibilities of the role include the conversion of new business, service existing accounts, and retention of renewals to achieve company budgets whilst maintaining a high level of service for the clients and their interests.The Role

  • Deliver excellent service to clients, including program design, renewals, claims, and mid-term developments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and retail customers, targeting new brokers through effective marketing.
  • Monitor client book performance against budget and take corrective action if needed.
  • Achieve income targets by providing professional service for new business and renewals.
  • Initiate business development initiatives in collaboration with the Regional Manager.
  • Take ownership of customer accounts, resolving inquiries, credit control issues, and problems promptly.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in accordance with company requirements and data protection rules.
  • Support business unit KPIs and targets as directed by the Regional Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, the Financial Services and Markets Act, and FCA regulations.
The Person
  • CII Qualified
  • Experienced Corporate Senior Account Handler
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to gather and analyse information from the customer.
