Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a school that focus on young peoples emotional, academic, and social developmentAre you looking for a position that offers daily challenges whilst giving you the training necessary to deal with themA Primary SEN school located in Coventry is seeking to employ a Teaching assistant on a temporary contract to work in a KS1 class for young people with Autism and SEMH barriers. This position will continue until the end of the academic year with view toa continue from September. This is a well-established school which carries an excellent reputation in its local community with the ability to support students with a range of difficulties.The successful candidate will have some experience as a Teaching assistant who has a background in supporting young people with additional needs, but also has the passion and desire to develop their skill set further.The Young people in this class do display some challenging behaviours, so having experience in this field is important, although not vital as training will be offered upon appointment. The class has been described as a lovely group and the role of the successfulTeaching assistant will be to support these students daily.The school have stated that they encourage applications from Teaching assistants of all backgrounds, if they have a genuine passion to support young people with additional needs.
