We are looking for a Retail Finance Assistant to assist in the Finance function of the Society in an efficient and accurate manner being an integral part of process and systems continualimprovement.Reporting to Head of Finance (initially the Financial Controller & Secretary)Skill RequirementsExcellent attention to detailOrganisational skillsAnalytically minded individual capable of prioritising tasks and meeting deadlinesTeam playerProficient in Microsoft Office ExcelIT LiterateExperience of systems development and implementationKey ResponsibilitiesControl of all Food Division invoice charging and stock reconciliationsEnsure all Food Division Branch Charging of costs is dealt with accurately.Liaise with Food Store managers to deal with any Branch Charging queries.Control of all related information required for food stocktake results.Control of all Funeral Division sales ledger transactions to ensure all reconciliations are complete and up to date.Potential of credit control operations for the Funeral Division and liaising with external debt collection and legal advisors.N.B.
