Job Description

We are on a journey to make the world a beautiful andsustainable place to live and have pledged to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050!This is a fantastic opportunity to join as a Rebate Administrator (fixed term) with Saint-Gobain where there will be responsibility for updating and maintaining the accuracy of the rebate collection spreadsheets, ensuring that rebate receipts are booked in correctly to the appropriate brand, by rebate element.Also to ensuring unallocated receipts (Balance in the Centre) are kept to a minimum and are clearly explained.As a Rebate Administrator (fixed term) with Saint-Gobain the key responsibilities are:

  • Record rebate receipts (BACS, Credit notes and deductions) in the rebate collection spreadsheets in a timely manner and ensure receipts are allocated correctly to both group brands and acquisition brands, and by different rebate type.
  • Assist Finance Rebate Specialists in updating receipts analysis in the supplier stats as required.
  • Ensure regular checks are carried out to maintain integrity of the collection spreadsheets and supplier stats spreadsheets.
  • When received through the Rebate Team Inbox, save supplier returns in appropriate supplier stats folder.
  • Respond to queries and process Bad Image credits received through Rebate Team Inbox.
  • Ensure Rebate Team Inbox is checked and cleared down regularly, to ensure no emails are missed.
  • Ensure copies of all credit notes received are saved in Scanned Rebate Documents folder with appropriate description.
  • Engage with suppliers to chase outstanding debt and supporting documentation for payments received.

  • Previous experience working in a administration with a focus on numbers and data.
  • Strong attention to detail is paramount.
  • IT literate with good Excel skills is essential.
  • Able to cope with tight deadlines and work well within the team to deliver best results.
  • GCSE English, Mathematics and Science (C or above).
  • Flexible, analytical and methodical approach in problem solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative towards process improvement.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, confident in communicating with all levels of staff and management in the Company, and with external suppliers where required.
