Job Description

Are you a Quality Engineer with expertise working within a high precision manufacturing environment Want to work in a modern-day engineering facility Green or Black Belt trained Then we want to hear from you.Located in the Coventry area, this company is working through a period of growth and is offering a competitive hourly rate for the right engineering professional looking for a 6 month contract.Responsibilities include -

  • Support plant process reviews and deal with supplier related concerns.
  • Manage any quality issues and liaise with the manufacturing team.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly status reports, to ensure supplier projects are on time for delivery.
  • Maintain the Quality Management Systems and monitor quality KPIs.
    • Desirable skills/experience/attributes -
  • Experience within a similar position.
  • Analytical and pro-active mind-set.
  • Tool knowledge such as 8D, Ishikawa, PPM, FMEA, SPC
  • Mechanical engineering education.
  • Six Sigma Green, or Black belt training is preferred.
