Job Description

A key client of ours is looking for a Quality Engineer to join its team following a period of growth. If youre open to a new career move and feel that you can deliver on whats mentioned below, then please apply ASAP.Responsibilities of this role include -To help maintain the quality system on site, work on process development, and to assist with transition activities, within the Production area.Quality Engineer duties include -

  • Review customer concerns, internal processes, and scrap rates.
  • Work closely with all teams on site, to help ensure that the project requirements are in line with the internal Transition Process and document changes correctly.
  • Investigate quality issues and produce written cause and corrective action responses.
  • Apply the correct problem-solving tools such as 8D, Ishikawa and 5Y.
  • Assist with both internal and external audits, ensuring regulatory standards are adhered to.
  • Assist with providing technical support to staff and driving continuous improvement.
Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -
  • Relevant experience within the Automotive sector.
  • Ability to demonstrate the use of tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC and MSA.
  • IT literate and analytical mindset.
  • Mechanical education (HNC/HND) / relevant Six Sigma training.
