Job Description

Are you a Quality Control and Diagnostic Technician looking to work for a company that makes products that save lives If so, then this is the role for you! My client is a global leader in Fire & Security prevention applications based in Coventry.This job will be responsible for carrying out incoming quality checks on finished products. Our client based in Coventry is currently focusing on growing the range of safety products manufactured and supplied to their customer base.In this Quality Control and Diagnostic Technician job, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out IQC (Incoming Quality Control) on latest production builds.
  • Carrying out F.A.I.R activities (First Article Inspection Reports).
  • Test and fault diagnosis on field returns from customers.
  • Carrying out component reviews, tear downs of PCBs and full product builds, cross referencing against the BoM and technical drawings.
  • Maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
To apply for this Quality Control and Diagnostic Technician job, you must have a combination of the following skills:
  • Minimum 2 years experience within the area of Quality Assurance relating to electronic products.
  • Minimum 2 years experience of working with electronic build standards along with plastic components.
  • Minimum 2 years experience of reading and interpretating technical drawings.
  • Good report writing and presentation skills.
  • Keen eye for detail.
