Job Description

MS323 -Project ManagerLocation: CoventrySalary: £45,000 - £57,000 per annum DOEOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an ExperiencedProject Manageron behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for runningthe successful transition and fulfilment of a stone and porcelaininstall from the moment that sales have secured a written order to final sign off from the client and retention release.This role would be ideal for an ex-military candidate; however, all applications will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Run the successful transition meeting with relevant internal stake holders from the moment that sales have secured a written order.
  • Clarify the scope of works with all parties involved.
  • Ensure the master document is used and tracked by site and office to monitor agreed price and programme and variations.
  • Use Sketchup to clarify all detail required for standard to install effectively on site and raise all requests for information from the relevant stakeholders.
  • Join daily project meeting to identify updates and keep coordination through the team.
  • Agree and track project rates with approved install teams.
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and ensure tasks are completed to keep to agreed timeline and budget.
  • Day to day communication with all parties to ensure project delivery is on time and within budget.
  • Find solutions to problems as and when required to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitor the project Work in Progress and report to finance and directors.
  • Approve purchase requirements for procurement.
  • Receive and analyse with team legal contracts and agreements before asking directors to sign. Flag anything that would put the company at risk.
  • Conduct site visits in London as and when required.
  • Gain rapport and understanding of Main Contractors contacts needs to build long term successful lifelong customers.
  • Find ways to innovate and improve install and project management to make it industry leading.
  • Raise bottlenecks immediately to get solutions from the team.
  • Manage sales where requiredSupply only.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent organisation & time management.
  • 3 years + experience is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good computer / IT skillsexamples Microsoft Office / G-Suite.
  • Commercial acumen & solutions focussed.
  • Excellent project management experience.
  • Flexibility.
  • Hunger to learn.
  • Knowledge of drawing software (e.g. Sketch Up) desired by not essential.
