Job Description

A Lead Project Engineer position has become available, within a business that supplies revolutionary technology to the ever-changing Automotive industry. As they work through a huge period of growth, this award-winning company is looking to expand its variousteams across this site. The successful professional will be responsible for ensuring that key client programs are delivered correctly and on time.   • Develop production build plans in line with customer vehicle build phases.
  • Liaise with the Engineering team to monitor any technical changes driven by the customer that impacts cost or timing.
  • Develop and maintain timing plans aligned with customer milestones.
  • Develop and maintain supplier timing plans to ensure that their plans are aligned with the required objectives.
  • Attend customer meetings, to provide progress reports, and manage any plan deviations.
Lead Project Engineer desirable skills and experience -
  • Experience in a similar position (Leader, Coordinator, Manager)
  • Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques (desirable).
  • Experience in delivering projects to the agreed times and budget constraints.
  • Relevant Programme Management / Project Engineering education.
