As a Production Technician, you will have the opportunity to work at their state-of-the-artfacility in Coventry, utilising innovative technology and processes.The RoleWorking as a Production Technician, you will be manufacturing the company’s hybrid taxi and as well as the recently launched electric van. Working in either the body structure or assembly department, you will be based on a production line, fitting and assemblingvehicle components to the point of completion.The company are looking for a variety of skill sets to work across the facility. Desirable criteria include:- Experience working from standard operating procedure and using DC tooling.- Experience working on a track.- A background in the following: Mechanics, Quality Technicians, Auto Electricians, Service Technicians, Rectification etc. The CandidateDue to global success of the new electric van, the company are looking to expand their workforce and take on Production Technicians to support their continued the growth. A positive and dynamic attitude is essential for this role, as well as being hard workingand willing to go the extra mile.The PackageLEVC are offering ongoing contracts to their Production Technicians, where you will be employed by Encore Personnel. There may be the opportunity to gain a permanent position with LEVC for those shining stars. You will be paid an annual salary of £27,186 which is paid on the last Friday of each month. You will be working a day shift Monday - thursday 06:30-16:15 The facility is currently operating a day shift.The CompanyLEVC, previously known as The London Taxi Company, is the manufacturer of the iconic London Black Cab and now the newly launched electric van. The company have had a multi-million pound investment in recent years, allowing the opening of their purpose builtmanufacturing centre in Coventry.
