Job Description

Gi Group Coventry are currently recruiting aProduction Supervisor for a brand new site opening in CV7 Ansty. This role will be working for a well-established client who specialises in manufacturing world leading, fully integrated stair and floorsolutions.This is a full time, permanent position. Hours of work are 07:00am until 16:00pm, Monday to Friday.Benefits:

The Role:As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
  • Oversee daily duties of 20+ employees to ensure that quality standards are being met and proper procedures are being followed
  • Give guidance to employees in handling errors, problems, complaints and/or disputes
  • Performance management of employees
  • Collating KPIinformation
  • Team representation in regular board meetings
  • Perform orientations and/or schedule training as needed for employees
  • Prepare and manage reports, manuals, correspondence and other documents using Microsoft Office packages
  • Review records and reports relevant to payroll, production and other workplace activities for monitoring employee activities and evaluating performance
  • Work with other supervisors to coordinate workplace activities with other departments, units or teams
  • Implement company or departmental policies, procedures and quality/service standards
  • Maintain records, including inventory, personnel, orders, supplies, and maintenance documentation
To be accepted for the role:
  • Must have a minimum 2 years experience inproduction supervision
  • Be reliable and hardworking
  • Good communication, both written and verbal
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularlyExcel.
