MECHANICAL, DESIGN, SOLIDWORKS, INDUSTRIAL, TURBOMACHINERY, MANUFACTURINGPrincipal Mechanical EngineerUp to £70,000 Per AnnumCoventryAn opportunity has arisen to join a Mechanical Engineering Team near Coventry to be part of a company developing a revolutionary new product within power generation technology.This well-established design, development and manufacturing company have recently moved into their brand-new, purpose-built facilities and are continuing to grow as the demand for their products increases within multiple pivotal sectors across the World.The current team of eight Mechanical Engineers are looking to grow with the addition of a Principal Mechanical Engineer to work on the product development of their turbomachinery and fuel system designs. If you enjoy the industrial side of Engineering andperhaps already have exposure to industries such as automotive, aerospace, Defence or Nuclear then you will feel right at home in this hands-on environment.As one of the more senior members of this department, you will get the opportunity to mentor senior design & analysis members and chair the design review process where required. You will be regarded as a subject matter expert so expected to assist in thedevelopment of all grades of Mechanical Engineers below your own.My client is looking for someone with experience across a broad range of relevant component designs (rotating machinery, fluid transfer, piping systems, pneumatics, sheet metal fabrication, combustion, heat exchangers, air bearings, motor/generator design),as well as solid proficiency in 3D/2D design, FEA, CFD and hand calculations.In return my client is offering a competitive salary up to £70,000 Per Annum, private medical insurance, pension contribution, hybrid working, life assurance and 33 days holiday entitlement (including Bank Holidays).If you would be interested in hearing more about this opportunity and would like to be considered, please get in touch with your latest CV.
