Job Description

The RoleDo you have a passion for customer satisfaction and development of our organisation Were looking for someone with a keen attention to detail to join our Commercial Team as a Pricing Analyst.You will support the wider Commercial team to provide high quality support to the management, customers and external contracts. The team youll join are friendly, fun and supportive-youll be actively encouraged to develop your skills and grow into your career in a positive environment.Your main responsibilities will include:

  • To support the management of Pricing / Customer Terms / External Contract Support, in conjunction with the Commercial Services Director and the Pricing Manager.
  • To support the introduction of new products to Minsters chosen markets at pricing levels which are to the full benefit of the Minster business.
  • To identify trends and opportunities for the maximising of margin through the analysis of pricing data.
  • To produce and present recommendations for price/terms points for products.
  • To ensure the commercial team are updated on competition trends and price points.
  • To constantly monitor and review the competitive pricing of Minsters product portfolio.
  • To support the review process of Minsters backdrop terms and pricing bands.
    • What were looking for in a Pricing Analyst:
  • Able to manage multiple workloads
  • Experience and knowledge of building materials sales and products preferable
  • Proven ability to work well and motivate working teams
  • Ability to network both within internal and external teams
  • Good understanding of market dynamics
  • Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Clear understanding of the principles of terms management
