Job Description

We are looking for an experiencedPPE Procurement Officer, could that be youCoventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust provides a full range of expanding physical, mental health and learning disability services to children, young adults, adults, and older adults over many sites across Coventry, Warwickshire, and Solihull. Our servicesreceived an overall rating of Good by the CQC and an Outstanding for care and compassion of which we are rightly proud. We have also been recognised both locally and nationally by receiving awards for the services we provide. Services are provided to a populationof over one million people living in Coventry and Warwickshire and also a wider geographical area in some of our specialist services, we see on average around 5,000 patients every day.We form part of the Coventry & Warwickshire Health and Care Partnership which is made up of the NHS, local government and the third sector to integrate care and better meet our health and care needs now and in the future.We are looking for a new member of staff to start ASAP at Wayside House, Wilsons Lane, Coventry, CV6 6NY until the 31st of March 2022 for the role below to join the Purchasing team currently covering 08.30am -16.30 pm Monday - Friday.

  • To collate the daily stock reports that come from numerous sites
  • To collate these into one document and submit to NHS central
  • To communicate information received from NHS Central to the sites to inform them of deliveries
  • To liaise between the central stores and sites regarding any issues/changes that are required
  • To deal with any requirements such as shortages and any PPE requirements that are not on the regular list that may need sourcing
You will need to have the following:
  • Will need a good understanding of Excel
  • The ability to work unsupervised to some degree
  • Be able to make decisions
