Job Description

Job Purpose Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic janitor cleaning for an Interserve customer. Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic internal and external cleaning including reactive works.
  • Complete all work in accordance with current legal and Health and Safety requirements.
  • Ensure any appropriate warning signs are always in use.
  • Manage, clean and maintain all external areas including walkways, carparks, low level window ledges and smoking areas to a high standard.
  • Work internally covering general cleaning role.
  • Complete daily work sheet outlining completed tasks.
  • Annual leave cover for Interserve minibus driver.
  • Always observe and comply with site rules and regulations.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a clean and safe working order.
  • Report all machine and building faults to line manager.
  • Ensure that machinery equipmentand cleaning cupboard are kept in a clean and tidy state.
  • Deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate
  • Use a time and attendance system to record working hours.
    • Knowledge Skills & Experience
  • Cleaning experience is preferred however training can be provided.
  • Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team.
  • Capable of working to their own initiative where appropriate.
