Job Description

Paraplanner - Meriden£30k -£40k basic salaryWe are seeking to recruit a Paraplanner for our client who are an established Wealth Management company based between Coventry and Birmingham. They are currently looking to expand the team further & are keen to bring in an experienced paraplanner to theteam to help support the growth of the business.This opportunity is suited for an experienced paraplanner or technical administrator to support the Paraplanning team with an expansive client bank assisting clients & advisors through the thorough & internal process. This is a great opportunity for an aspiringindividual. You will be assisting the team in the day-to-day support of the entire client process & working towards supporting financial advisors directly.As our client is a growing firm, they will invest into the development of the individual offering career progression & supporting with further exams & qualifications however is looking for ideally someone with paraplanning experience or technical IFA Administrativebackground who can adapt to the role quickly.Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing & writing client reports (pensions, investments, Trustee Investment, IHT planning and other associated financial planning requirements)
  • Prepping necessary research for client report
  • Handling both client & adviser queries
  • Reviewing relevant & available products to meet client needs and making the appropriate recommendations
  • Reviewing new funds available to meet the requirements of the asset allocations and making recommendations
  • Ensuring all paperwork FCA compliant.
A successful candidate will ideally have background in Paraplanning or Technical Administration. You will be a motivated & driven individual who Ideally will have attained or are working towards DipFA qualification or almost completed. Typically, CII qualifiedto diploma level, excellent IT skills and have Strong written & verbal communication skills with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels within and outside the business.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
