A fast-growing company that was founded in 2016 by three partners who want to help the planet and save clients’ money is looking for a home-based Operations/Project Manager in Coventry. You will own the delivery of solar projects from the development stage through to completion.The role will suit someone who is never satisfied with the status-quo. You need to be results orientated who can challenge conventional thinking and find smarter ways to do things. You must put people first, build deep customer relationships and want to improve futures!As an Operations/Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:- Taking projects from mobilisation through to completion on time and in budget in a controlled and coordinated manner. Adapting to any changes with minimal disruption to client and company.- Producing detailed site surveys reports which capture all the relevant information pertinent to the energy saving solutions proposed in a form that can be used by several different stakeholders.- Preparing, publishing and presenting health & safety documentation to staff, partners, clients and any other stakeholders which covers all the applicable risks and mitigates with safe working practices.- Working with strategic partners and suppliers to obtain best value quotations for the installation phase of the project, including mechanical, electrical, plant and scaffolding.- Own the mobilisation of projects, including procurement and logistics of materials, plant and personnel.- Being responsible for site set-up and site management, including management of materials, plant and sub-contractors.- Quality check and review works completed ensuring the best possible solutions are delivered and handover to the client who acts as a glowing reference to continue the organic growth of the company.- Constantly evolving the role, our capability and our processes to deliver positive company change.We are looking for an Operations/Project Manager who has the following skills, qualifications and experiences:- Commercial Electrician with HV/LV experience.- Site Management/Operational Management experience.- Sub-contractor management/team management.- A full UK driving license with no disqualifications and no more than 6 penalty points.- 18th Edition.- 2391 Test and Inspection.- Solar PV Quals.- SSTS / SMSTS.- IOSH / NEBOSH.- IPAF.DBS Clearance – You must be able to work in sensitive environments; schools and care homes and have a 5-year checkable history.To apply for this role as Operations/Project Manager, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.Candidate Source Ltd is an advertising agency.
