Job Description

Job Title: Mortgage AdvisorLocation: Coventry (CV5 6SP)Working Hours: Hybrid/Flexible working - 37.5 hours a weekSalary: Up to £27,500, depending on experienceBrookson Financial, a specialist team of Financial Advisers who are experts in understanding the needs of freelancers. We now have an exciting new opportunity for a Mortgage Advisor to join our thriving business.Although the Brookson Financial team is based in Coventry, the successful candidate can be based from the Warrington, Bournemouth, or Coventry office as long as the initial 2 weeks of training is conducted in the Coventry office.Since joining the Brookson Group, Brookson Financial have experienced significant growth and we now boast specialist teams for mortgages, protection and investment advice. Were passionate about developing people and heavily invest in qualifications withinFinancial Services to help our employees progress.You will work as part of a wider group of financial service advisors, and you will focus on providing professional advice on mortgages and mortgage protection policies to our clients.The role:

  • Advise clients on their mortgage and protection needs
  • Research and maintain knowledge of mortgage and protection products and the available providers.
  • Meet the regulatory aspects of the role, such as the requirements for disclosure, costs of the services and the advised products.
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation relating to the Freelance Contractor and Interim Manager industry sector
  • Take ownership when seeking solutions for clients, including the adjudication of the solution with the Companys internal departments.
What experience and qualifications are we looking for
  • CeMAP 1, 2 & 3
  • 1 years experience of providing advice on mortgage services and products
  • Previous experience working in a compliance regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products
  • High level of numeracy skills
  • Strong Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
