Job Description

Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a ecommerce brand who retail in fashionable furniture.We are looking to recruit for a Merchandiser on a full time, permanent basis.Job title: MerchandiserLocation: CoventryStart date: December 2023 - Feb 2024Salary: £30,000-£35,0000Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid (3 days in office)The role:

  • Manage stock flow for US and UK markets and deliver inventory and availability
  • Work with internal teams to develop effective merchandising strategies
  • Analyse data of market trends and sales to informed decisions on product pricing, promotions, and assortment
  • Evaluate the performance of products and provide actionable insights on discontinuation, restocking and more
  • Work with suppliers to negotiate quantities, timelines and terms to meet business needs
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and market changes to identify new opportunities
Candidates criteria:
  • Previous experience within a similar role is essential
  • Data driven with strong analytical skills
  • Great problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Confident and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Knowledge of ecommerce trends
