Mechanical Maintenance SupervisorCoventry CV4Paying £26,500Day shiftPermanent position I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor within the Estates team for a large site based in CV4. This is a role in which you need previous experience, as well as qualifications, and will not be considered without either of these.The successful candidate will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of a wide variety of complex equipment throughout the University Estate such as environmental systems, lifts, heating, ventilation equipment that form part of the services infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesFor the role of Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will supervise planned preventive maintenance systems, routine maintenance, including amending / technically completing of the computerised planned maintenance systemsAs a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be overseeing a team of 24 - managing the team performance, discipline and grievance, time sheet completion, absence monitoring, performance management, appraisals, identification and implementation of training etcYou will also be in control of issuing appropriate permits and review all supporting health and safety documentation, risk assessments, method statements, training records etc. Requirements For the role of Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you must have completed a recognised mechanical apprenticeship/training programme qualified to at least City and Guilds, preferably to HNC/NVQ3, or equivalent.
