Mechanical Design Engineer - Medical Devices - Product Development - Coventry - £35K - £45KMy client specialises in developing innovative medical devices in the Coventry area. Due to continued success, they are looking for a mechanical design engineer to join their team who can help research, develop, and design the best possible medical devices.Main Duties:+ Design and develop complex mechanical components from initial concept through to manufacture using 2D and 3D CAD.+ Responsible for conducting research to develop and improve new and existing products+ Interacting and communicating effectively within project teams in both support, and design lead roles+ Generate bill of materials and completing other documentationSkills and experience required:+ At least three years design experience in a product development setting+ Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD (Solidworks would be ideal)+ Experience of developing products, ideally medical devices, or consumer goods+ Ideally the candidate will also have experience in one or more of the following: FEA, injection moulding, PDMThe salary will be between £35,000 - £45,000, with the company able to offer more for exceptional candidates.If you feel like you have the right skills and experience for this role, then please apply with a copy of your updated CV.
