Job Description

A Mechanical design position has just become available in a well established business specialising in heavy plant machinery. You will be joining this award winning business with a purpose to assist with scope changes to the existing portfolio of products,as well as working with R&D on concept solutions.Benefits being a Mechanical design engineer include-

As Mechanical design engineer, your duties will include -
  • Working with customers to generate custom design solutions to meet their needs
  • Supporting Research and development in the development of new concepts and products
  • Identifying improvements within the business
  • Assisting with the maintenance of process and procedures
  • Identifying business opportunities
Mechanical designer engineer desirable skills
  • You are skilled in the use of 3D CAD
  • Have experience of designing heavy machinery
  • Have a thorough understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems
  • Have an interest in creative/concept design and development
Based near Bedworth, this role is easily commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Tamworth, Leicester and Rugby.
