Job Description

Alexander Daniels are working in partnership with a large business in Coventry who have multiple regional offices across the UK. Due to expansion and internal promotion there is a vacancy within their finance team for a Commercial Management Accountant/JuniorBusiness Partner to focus on their Northern territory. This role shall be working closely /in partnership with their contractor managers and onsite senior management.This role shall require travel to multiple sites across the North of England. Your diary shall be managed independently but would ideally show, 1 day in Coventry, 2 days WFH & 2 days onsite.Key Responsibilties

  • Manage the month end process for the designated Northern region, ensure the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and management information for operational management
  • Review designated accruals and prepayments on a monthly basis
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports accurately and timely including variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly KPI schedules, monthly reporting packs and PowerPoint presentations for Senior Managers
  • Assist operations with debtor queries and provide debt analysis when requested
  • Provide graphical analysis to give visual representation of business results to help non financial users to understand their performance
  • Responsible for the collation of monthly stock data
  • Promptly and accurately deal with all queries raised by operational staff
  • Maintain regular contact and communication with all operational management
  • Presentation of financial results to managers when requested
  • Attend funeral area meetings and financial training courses when requested
  • Assist operational staff with the interpretation and understanding of their management accounts and any other associated queries
  • Responsible for the management and development of Assistant Regional Management Accountants
  • Any other duties you may reasonably be requested to carry out by management
