Job Description

Are you a driven and experienced Management Accountant looking to take ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes while building strong relationships and partnering with operational colleagues Are you a confident and clear communicator witha can do attitude Are you studying toward completion of ACCA/CIMAWe are delighted to be working with an established, growing, and award-winning services company based in Coventry. This creative and environmentally conscious company are going from strength to strength through natural growth and acquisitions. They are lookingto recruit externally to bring a driven and ambitious Management Accountant into their organised finance team. This role will see you working closely with operational colleagues to produce month-end accounts and regular forecasts. Reporting directly to theFinance Manager, you will deliver accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting to drive key decisions across the business.This role comes with an annual salary of up to £45,000 dependant on experience.Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with operational managers to ensure the production of timely and reliable management information.
  • Producing accurate and robust management accounts and ensure regular and accurate billing.
  • Supporting with the production of the annual budget and regular forecasting process, including budget development with operational managers.
  • Monitoring budgets and forecasts against actuals, investigating any differences and providing analysis.
  • Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and manage aged debt and accrued income.
  • Building positive relationships with operational colleagues and act as an effective business partner to resolve issues.
Candidate Skills and Attributes:
  • Previous experience preparing full Management Accounts including budgeting and forecasting is essential.
  • Part qualified or finalist and actively studying ACCA/CIMA.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information effectively.
  • Deadline-driven with the ability to manage a demanding workload and drive results.
  • High level of enthusiasm and positive attitude.
