Job Description

A UK wide, established retail business is currently looking for a driven, ambitious Management Accountant to come and join their Coventry based team.This role is looking for someone with strong management accounting skills including; month-end reporting, preparation of accounts and monthly analysis. They are on the lookout for someone to take ownership for the production of month-end and be forward thinkingin order to take the next step in their career.Working along-side a skilled Finance Manager you will gain exposure to the commercial side of the business and liaise with both clients and potential stakeholders. The successful person for this role will have the ambition to progress within the businessand expand their finance knowledge.Ideally, you will:

  • Be part qualified in ACCA or CIMA with a clear mind-set to complete the qualification.
  • Have strong technical accounting skills in order to assist in the preparation of statutory accounts as well as budgeting experience in a large organisation.
  • Have all the basic knowledge of the month-end process as well as previous exposure/ experience in providing financial support to non-finance people providing insightful details when it comes to financial analysis.
  • Have confident communication skills and high attention to detail in order to prioritise your work load in a fast paced environment and liaise effectively with the team and senior management.
