Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join a market leading and global organisation as a Logistics Planner working at their Coventry facility. The role is working Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 7am-12:30pm, benefiting from a salary of between £35,000-£40,000 (dependingon experience).Client DetailsBased in Coventry you will be working for a market leading automotive organisation operating across 70 sites in 25 countries, employing over 30,000 people. It is the fourth largest family-owned automotive supplier in the world with an expected turnover of7 billion euros in 2022.DescriptionThe Logistics Planner role will involve:

  • Optimisation of material flows.
  • Plan and Implement logistics processes.
  • Initiate and lead participants in cost reduction measures.
  • Elimination of waste from logistics.
  • Monitor logistics performance.
  • Monitor logistics costs.
  • Development and maintenance of KPIs.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Health & Safety.
ProfileThe successful Logistics Planner candidate will be able to demonstrate:
  • Warehousing and logistics knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of Logistics processes.
  • Good understanding of housekeeping.
  • HNC in Logistics / Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of MTM analysis.
  • Excellent SAP knowledge/key user.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
