Post Title: Locum Consultant NephrologistDepartment: Renal MedicineJOB DESCRIPTION:This opportunity has arisen in the department of Nephrology and transplantation due to a sabbatical. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join an active group of clinicians and academics in Nephrology & Transplantation, at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust, to facilitate high quality patient care in Nephrology, and TransplantationThe post-holder will be employed by and based at UHCW NHS Trust, and their principal duties will be based in the department of Renal Medicine. Their responsibilities will include management of Nephrology inpatients, including general nephrology, acute kidney injury, dialysis and transplantation, when Consultant of the Week in Nephrology. The outpatient clinics include general nephrology, including stable transplant patients, and dialysis clinics in Stratford Dialysis Unit. The appointee will work rotationally on the Renal Ward.
