Job Description

Lead FPGA Engineer - Coventry - GBP 50,000-60,000 DOEI am currently working with technical specialists who provide bespoke products for both commercial and residential customers.This role is office based, therefore, this means you will need to live and have the right to work in the UK.As a Lead FPGA Engineer, you will assist with the design and development of my clients systems. You will work closely with their internal and external suppliers to ensure that they maintain a high quality of service.Responsibilities:

  • Punctual delivery of FPGA solution based on requirements from a range of engineering teams using Verilog RTL
  • Providing FPGA documentation to engineering and assess teams
  • Use analytical tools and skills to quickly resolve issues
  • Advancement of FPGA test benches for simulation and verification
Essential Skills:
  • Verilog RTL design
  • Synthesis and simulation
  • Layer 2 transport mechanisms
  • DDR3
  • DDR4
Desirables:
  • Understanding of Copper Infrastructure
  • Experience working in telecommunications
  • Experience of network management
