You will be responsible for:
  • Working as a member of a customer project implementation team to analyse customer requirements, configure case manager and implement the customers solution
  • Gaining an understanding of each customers requirements, business context and operational procedures
  • Documenting customer projects using a range of techniques including writing specifications, modelling diagrams and configuration of prototypes
  • Keeping the project tracking and documentation systems up to date with all decisions, requirements, specifications and configurations
  • Understanding case manager how it can be used and how it can be configured for different business purposes
  • Attending or running sessions, which may include workshops, discussions, work shadowing, documentation analysis and operation of systems to be replaced
  • Tracking requirements, their specification and the configuration that is used to meet them in order to ensure that delivered solutions meet the customers requirements
  • Working within and contributing to the projects implementation plan and delivery schedule
  • Using knowledge of the customer and their operational procedures to test customer systems on behalf of the customer as part of the User Acceptance Testing
  • Identifying requirements that cant currently be met through configuration of Case Manager and highlighting potential product improvements that would benefit the implementation of customer projects or usage of Case Manager by customers
  • Specifying change requests to meet new customer requirements or projects
  • Tracking bugs and issues identified during testing of customer projects and manage their resolution as part of the implementation process
You will need the following skills:
  • At least 2 years demonstrable experience in a comparable business analysis role in the commercial, public or voluntary sector
  • Process modelling skills, i.e. an understanding of how day to day business functions can be presented and visualised in order to improve performance
  • Experience of working in the IT/software development industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills - you need to be able to build rapport with customers and accurately document user requirements
  • Project and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate and lead collaborative working relationships
  • Technically competent with windows-based computer systems, online meetings and collaborative communication tools
  • Demonstrable experience and skills in a comparable business analysis role
  • Up to date technical competence with Windows-base IT systems, process modelling tools and online collaborative working
  • Experience of working in the IT and software development industry
  • Excellent time and project management skills
The following skills would be beneficial, but not essential:Experience and good working knowledge of working in a client/customer facing environmentSkills and experience in utilising business modelling software such as MS Visio or Diagrams.netThe entry requirements for this programme are as follows:
  • Level 3 Qualification + at least 12 months of work experience* + robust onboarding plan (learner must work in the organisation for 3 months before signing up)
  • OR business-related degree e.g: business, finance, economics, maths, etc.
  • OR non-business-related degree + at least 6 months of work experience*
  • OR existing staff member with 2+ years of work experience**
*Work experience relates to any valid work experience**Existing staff work experience should not be in a business analyst roleYou may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
