Job Description

Orbit is a fantastic business and one that’s really going places.We are looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst to join our busy team based out of our head office in Coventry. Reporting into the IT First Line Team Leader, this role will work as part of a small team to provide excellent customer service and efficient, reliable support to our 1,200+ employees across the Midlands, East and South.This role will interface with other teams throughout the business to ensure the effective operation of the Group’s infrastructure and provide 1st line IT support to staff and external organisations utilising our infrastructure. The service desk must be responsive, effective and efficient in line with business needs - high IT service standards are so important in the current climate where the majority of our employees are working remotely.About youAs our ideal IT Service Desk Analyst, you will have:

  • Experience in providing 1st line IT support from a service desk setting
  • Experience working with technical and system support teams with associated technical, software and industry standards
  • Strong hardware/software diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and investigate
  • The ability to configure, image and install IT equipment
  • The ability to communicate with employees and external customers, with strong customer focus
  • Ideally, you will also have exposure and experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
