Job Description

Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner an established organisation to recruit a Financial Reporting Accountant on an interim basis of 9-months. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant to make a real impact in a leading corporate business.The successful candidate will join an established team and work on a range of regulatory reporting tasks.Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Accountant will include:

  • Preparing, analysing and validating regulatory reports
  • Liaising with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies
  • Reviewing pricing models and ensuring consistent and compliant regulatory reporting
  • Coordinating with other internal departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Investigating and resolving any regulatory discrepancies
The successful Financial Reporting Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
  • Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Exposure to a regulated sector
  • Experience with year-end management
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Whats on Offer:In addition to an attractive day rate, the successful candidate will benefit from hybrid working, allowing them to work from home and in the office. Previous experience suggest that this assignment could easily extend making it an even more attractive proposition.This role sits within IR35.You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
