Job Description

JOB TITLE: Human Resources Organisational Effectiveness Strategic PartnerReports to: HR DirectorLocation : Coventry ( Flexible )Salary Banding: Circa £70K - £85K Plus Excellent benefits packageClient: Nationwide Utilities CompanyOverall Purpose of the JobTo design, develop and deploy an organisational effectiveness strategy framework; ensuring effective organisation design, workforce strategies and performance enhancement programmes. Organisational Design (OD) at a specialist level is the primary focus of a role.Key Accountabilities

  • Design, develop and deploy the organisational effectiveness strategy framework
  • Lead change programmes that drive organisational efficiency, via organisation design and/or organisational effectiveness interventions - being able to diagnose and deploy appropriate tools and frameworks to execute these activities simply and consistently.
  • Work closely across the Centre of Expertise to ensure strategic alignment of all performance, talent, reward, engagement, employee relations approaches, frameworks and strategies to drive organisational effectiveness
  • Interpreting business analytics, with expertise in performance metrics and evaluation across functions; using these insights to drive organisational change, redesign, performance
  • Ongoing development and implementation of the workforce strategy, including strategic workforce planning and performance enhancement programmes
  • Design, development, implementation and communication of the Performance Management Framework, ensuring effective and relevant to business needs - Strategic performance improvement aligned with strategic goals, organisational values and priorities
  • Provide leadership, consultation, and guidance to the company on organisational development strategies. Understands the external and internal business landscape. Identifies opportunities to improve organisational performance and team alignment.
  • Work closely with the Capability & Development Strategic Partner to develop initiatives that shape the leadership culture and optimise the organisations agility, collaboration, and decision-making.
  • Work closely with Talent and Strategic Learning Partner and the HR Business Partners to ensure the design of the organisation is fit for purpose and carry out restructuring exercises when necessary whilst instilling Organisational Design principles.
  • Knowledge and Experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of designing and leading organisational effectiveness diagnostics and interventions
  • Skilled in measuring and evaluating the impact of interventions
  • Knowledge of organisational behaviour and design to support effective operations
  • Strategic thinker
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and influence at all levels and deliver strategy through others
  • Experience of leading large scale, multi-disciplinary change
  • Ability to collaborate with a wide professional network
