Job Description

The ExtraCare Charitable Trust is recruiting for aLifestyle Manageron a 37.5 hours per week permanent contract at our luxury Earlsdon Park Retirement Village located in Coventry,As our Lifestyle Manager, you will receive a competitive salary of £37,132 per annum plus a benefits package which includes: -

What will you do as our Lifestyle Manager
  • You will be responsible for overseeing delegated functions of the service which include Activities, Volunteers, Catering, Bar, Reception, Retail and the Gym.
  • Support themanagement of relationships within the Village to improve better outcomes with residents, staff, volunteers, and the local community in line with ExtraCares Mission and Values.
  • Promote excellent customer service delivery and bring acommercial focus to improve the outputs of these
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Act as Deputy to the Village Manager
  • Experience of achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Skills and ExperienceEssential: -
  • Extensive experience in a customer service or front of house role
  • Coordinating and delivering events
  • Experience of managing staff and volunteers within a commercial business
  • Generating income and budget management (specifically profit and loss)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers and other key stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and develop new systems and processes
  • Ability to lead staff and implement a positive resident experience
  • Demonstrate a strong business acumen
  • Good written and verbal skills to compile reports
Desirable: -
  • Experience of overseeing food and beverage functions
  • Experience of stock taking and ordering
  • Experience of collecting and analysing customer feedback
  • Experience of working in a retirement village setting or and understanding of our resident group
  • The ability to think imaginatively and laterally in order to share a unique resident experience
  • Proficient in the se of IT and data base management
  • Attention to detail
  • Qualifications in food hygiene, health and safety, NVQ/QCF or equivalent in Hospitality
Our Facilities at Earlsdon Parkinclude: -A sociable village centre, shop, bistro and bar, Sky lounge,library and IT suite, caf bar and lounge, wellbeing suite and wellbeing bathroom, hairdressing and beauty salon, craft room, fitness suite, Enriched Opportunities Suite (to support people who have dementia), fully accessible toilet facilities, laundry and launderette, lifts and greenhouse.
