Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of our Public Sector Client for a Helpdesk Advisor to work in Coventry, CV1 2WT.Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for everyone.Our justice system defends our fundamental rights and freedoms. From some of the most vulnerable people in our society, to families in crisis, claimantsand commercial businesses - HMCTS has a responsibility to administer a justice system that is accessible to everyone and operates efficiently.Job DescriptionThe Teaching Regulation Agency is an executive agency of the Department for Education (DfE). The purpose of the agency is to take action on receipt of allegations of serious teacher misconduct and to support employers, schools and headteachers with safeguarding responsibilities. It provides employers with access to the database of qualified teachers(DQT) in order for them to complete pre-recruitment checks to ensure that they are employing teachers who are not prohibited from teaching and who are appropriately qualified for their role. In addition, the agency acts on behalf of the Secretary of State as the Competent Authority for teaching in England. This role includes the recognition of the professional status of appropriately qualified teachers from outside England and the award of qualifiedteacher status (QTS).Helpdesk Adviser - Teacher Qualification Unit (TQU)The post holder in the Teacher Qualification Unit will provide first line response to incoming queries from both teachers and appropriate bodies, answering E Mails and calls within service level agreement. Working as a team player the postholder will upholdthe standards of the Teaching Regulation Agency at all times.The post holders key responsibilities will include: " Responding to E Mail queries accurately and efficiently. " Acting as a telephone contact point for stakeholder queries providing excellent customer service. " Actioning change of detail requests." Reviewing procedures to support the effective delivery of the TQ Helpdesk." Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve overall goals."
