Job Description

Our client, based in Coventry, is currently recruiting for a Fixed Cost Analyst on a fixed termcontract for 12 months.The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. They are happy to consider candidates on a fixed term contract or on a daily rate.The ideal candidate must be able to confidently perform VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables and have the confidence to present information to management & other departmentDuties will include (but not limited to):

  • Assisting in producing budgets & forecasts (running reports, data analysis)
  • Assisting in month end closure ensuring that the brands funding covers any future liabilities (ie. processing journal, data extract and reporting, variances analysis)
  • Prepare costs and sales information, highlighting variances and queries to forecasts to enable the G&A and FME Controllers to prepare an action plan
  • Animation and monitoring of various cost centres
  • Reconciliation of accounts & POs to be undertaken to close POs and release funds if relevant
Skills, knowledge and expertiserequired:
  • Have the ability to work accurately and effectively under severe time pressure, whilst maintaining the intellectual capacity to question, analyse commercial and accounting data
  • Exhibit the ability to be able to adapt quickly and easily to change with the desire to question information given with a view to improving departmental efficiency
Working hours:
  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
