Job Description

Job Title: Finance & Data SpecialistLocation: Whitley, CoventryRate: £28.20ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £21.50ph PAYEEmployment Type: Contract (12 months)Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per WeekReference: J39399Work with Finance Transformation Team to support delivery of Payments and Invoicing Transformation Project. The candidate will provide financial support and business partnering to Agency Team and wider UK NSC SMEs. Deliver Business Cases to Operational andSenior Stakeholders to drive key business decision making. Operate independently and provide a high-level of support to the Finance Manager. Cross functional working with the wider finance community to deliver finance strategies or initiatives. Support internalcontrol requirements and audit, documentation of processes and best practice. Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.Personal Profile Essential:

Skills Required:
  • Experience of using Project Management tools such as Jira.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Admin Management experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential:
  • Proven Finance Business Partner experience ideally gained within a large, complex organisation.
  • Proven Business Transformation and Project Management skills.
  • Proven strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and nurture internal and external relationships.
  • Exceptional numerical and analytical skills, supported by communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence a range of Stakeholders and to translate financial issues for Operational Teams.
  • Ability to multi-task, work accurately at speed and under pressure, demonstrating flexibility in balancing delivery of conceptual work with attention to detail and hands on delivery.
  • Strong analytical background and delivery skills.
  • Customer focused and should be able to determine service requirements and performance measures, and initiate solutions
  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
Experience Preferred:
  • Continuous improvement mind set with the ability to identify and implement robust solutions and process enhancements.
  • Sound financial and commercial business acumen shown through evidence of developing, introducing new or innovative practices or processes in support of strategic business goals.
  • Strong Commercial experience and accumen.
